— Michelle Browning Coughlin, founder of the non-profit advocacy group MothersEsquire, in comments given before the American Bar Association’s House of Delegates in support of Resolution 501, where she advocated for appropriate breast pumping accomodations for law students and lawyers. The resolution was approved, and bar examiners, law schools, bar associations, and legal employers will now be urged to adopt “reasonable and accessible” accommodations for lactating individuals.
