Wow, Davis Polk really knows how to get a compensation party started. A month after Milbank announced their 2022 raises, DPW came over the top — at least for midlevel and senior associates — and now Biglaw firms are falling over themselves matching this new standard.

The latest firm to announce raises is Willkie Farr, a firm that made $986,000,000 in gross revenue in 2020, making it #44 on the Am Law 100. As expected, they’ve matched the compensation grid set by DPW yesterday.

In case you haven’t yet memorized it, here it is:

These raises will be retroactive to January 1 — the same effective date as the Milbank bump — and will will hit bank accounts on March 15th. You can read the full memo on the next page.
