A lot of litigators lean into the bareknuckled brawler imagery, but a law firm in Illinois went beyond lip service and actually brought on a cage fighter… and then made a bunch of commercials about it.
Because nothing says “attorney at law” more than 10 seconds of grainy cage match video.
Flagged on Twitter by Qenny, what these commercials from 2010 lack in production value, they more than make up for with memorability. And, at the end of the day, that’s the whole point of an ad — no one in Western Illinois is walking away from these ads without knowing the name “Clark Law Office.”
Or should we say no one is “tapping out” without knowing the name? No, we shouldn’t. Let’s not belabor this.
Glasgow, a graduate of Cooley Law School, spent a couple years training for mixed martial arts combat before joining David Reid Clark at the Clark Law Office. These days, some 13 years later, the Clark Law Office is fully rebranded as Clark & Glasgow.
Glasgow might not be an MMA fighter anymore, but the office hasn’t abandoned its commitment to strained metaphors:
Most folks would leave the lifeline figurative, but 100 points for literally throwing a line into the water.
