Cartoon 100 dollar billMoney. I love it. You love it. And this bonus season, you’re probably expecting more.

The wait is over.

Two weeks ago, DLA Piper released its bonus table — a welcome announcement considering that the firm has had a habit of issuing black box bonuses. Thankfully, they are continuing the trend of transparency. After Biglaw firms began to change their bonuses to be closer to what Davis Polk is offering, DLA has decided to follow suit. Here’s what you can expect.

DLA Piper Bonus

It must be hard to figure out what to do with all that extra money coming your way. Maybe you can get that Roomba you’ve been putting off? I know it makes no sense that your floor is messy when you’re barely even home, and yet it moves.

(Turn to the next page to see the DLA Piper memo.)

We like hearing about bonuses almost as much as you enjoy spending them. As soon as your firm’s memo comes out, please email it to us (subject line: “[Firm Name] Bonus”) or text us (646-820-8477). Please include the memo if available. You can take a photo of the memo and send it via text or email if you don’t want to forward the original PDF or Word file.

And if you’d like to sign up for ATL’s Salary & Bonus Alerts, please scroll down and enter your email address in the box below this post. If you previously signed up for the bonus alerts, you don’t need to do anything. You’ll receive an email notification within minutes of each bonus announcement that we publish.
