Time management has been the biggest challenge. I study what I do on the field and off the field. Especially tough are group projects, trying to find a way to meet and get everything done and communicate with the people I’m working with. There are things I’m obligated to do, because they have obligations as well.

— August Pitre, a wide receiver for the Southern University Jaguars, in comments given to The Advocate on what it’s like to be a student-athlete. Pitre isn’t just any student-athlete though, he’s a first-year law student at Southern University Law Center.
