Want To Be A Legal Recruiter? Lateral Link Is Hiring!

You may already know that Lateral Link is one of the largest and most successful legal recruiting agencies in the United States.  Maybe you’ve spoken with a Lateral Link recruiter as a potential candidate for lateral roles.  But have you considered becoming a Lateral Link recruiter yourself?

We are seeking to add to our associate and partner recruiting teams in the Southeast, Chicago/Midwest, and Northern California.  In Texas, we are hiring with a focus on partner recruiting. We are also seeking a recruiter to open a new office in London.  Please note that these roles can be done remotely!  For example, for the Southeast team, you could be based in Miami, Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, or anywhere else in the region.

Demand for our services is booming, and we are actively seeking to add recruiters to our industry-leading team.  Prior legal recruiting experience is welcome but not required.

Maybe you have a friend who would be a great recruiter?  Send them our way!  If you introduce us to someone who becomes a recruiter on our team, we will thank you with a $5000 referral fee.

Legal recruiting is a great career

Do you like talking to people?  Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit?  Do you understand the Biglaw market?  If so, you should consider a career in legal recruiting.

I made the jump from law firm partner to legal recruiting 12 years ago, and like most of my colleagues, I haven’t looked back.  No billable hours.  No one-size-fits-all compensation constraints.  No long commutes.  Recruiting is all about flexibility.  You work when and where you want, setting your own goals.  And the earning potential is unlimited: we have recruiters billing in the seven-figure range!

There has never been a better (or more lucrative!) time to join Lateral Link.  We are experiencing the best year in our history and expect to make over 500 placements in 2021.  We are placing candidates throughout the United States, and we’re increasingly active in cross-border lateral placements.

We are open to wide range of backgrounds

Although search firm legal recruiting experience is helpful, it is by no means required.  Many of our most successful recruiters joined Lateral Link after careers as practicing attorneys or law firm recruiting coordinators.  Others have made the transition from sales roles.  What matters most is a natural ability to connect with people and a desire to build your own practice.

Curious to learn more?  Feel free to email me for more information or to set up a call.

And as always, if you are not interested in becoming a recruiter but would like to explore a lateral law firm move, please reach out.  Now is a fantastic time to lateral.  Even if you aren’t ready to make an immediate jump, it’s never too early to start building a trusted relationship with a recruiter.

Lateral Link is one of the top-rated international legal recruiting firms. With over 14 offices world-wide, Lateral Link specializes in placing attorneys at the most prestigious law firms and companies in the world. Managed by former practicing attorneys from top law schools, Lateral Link has a tradition of hiring lawyers to execute the lateral leaps of practicing attorneys.
